RGB stands for red, green and blue. In lighting products, those colour channels can be combined to produce a range of colours and effects. That makes RGB car interior lighting different from a fixed-colour lamp that is designed to stay blue, purple, white or another single colour.
What RGB changes
RGB mainly gives you more flexibility over colour. The exact controls depend on the product: some use a compatible phone app, some use a remote, and some include music-reactive modes.
RGB does not automatically mean every feature
Do not assume every RGB kit has Bluetooth, music sync, brightness control or the same number of modes. Check the exact product and variant before ordering.
Where RGB works well
RGB is useful when you want to change the cabin look rather than commit to one colour. It can suit footwell areas or suitable trim routes when installed without blocking controls or creating distracting glare.
