A good ambient-lighting result starts before anything is mounted. Planning the route, power connection and visibility can prevent an untidy setup and reduce the chance of interfering with vehicle controls.
1. Identify the exact product and variant
Check whether your chosen version is USB powered, uses a 12V accessory connection, has app control, or uses another listed configuration. Do not rely on the product title alone.
2. Map the lighting route

3. Identify no-go areas
Do not place lights or cables where they could interfere with pedals, steering, airbags, seat movement, vents or essential controls. Keep glare out of the driver's direct view.
4. Check power access
Make sure the intended connection is compatible with the product and positioned so that cables can be routed safely.
5. Test the layout concept first
Before making anything permanent, check that the planned locations produce the effect you want and remain clear of moving parts.
6. Know when to use professional help
