More lights do not automatically create a better interior. The right number depends on which areas you want to illuminate, how strong you want the effect to be and how the product is powered.
One or two small accents
If you only want a detail around a cup holder or a compact cabin area, a small number of lights may be enough. Our LED cup-holder coasters are available in different pack sizes, so you can match the quantity to the locations you intend to use.
Footwell lighting
A footwell setup aims to create a low-level glow rather than fill every surface with light. Plan each seating area separately and keep cables clear of pedals, moving seats and passenger snag points.
Strip and fibre-optic systems
For strips, length matters more than the number of individual pieces. Measure the route first. For fibre optic, map the trim line you want to accent before choosing a kit size.
Build in stages
If you are unsure, start with one area and see whether the visual balance works. You can then decide whether another layer of lighting adds something useful.
