LED strip length should match the route you want to illuminate. A 5m strip is not automatically better than a 1m or 2m strip if your planned installation is small.
1m: compact accent areas
A shorter strip can suit one focused area where you want a simple accent rather than full-cabin coverage.
2m to 3m: medium routes
These lengths can give more flexibility for wider footwell or trim plans while remaining easier to manage than a very long strip.
4m to 5m: larger planned routes
Longer versions can make sense when you have measured a larger route and know where the strip and cable will go. Do not choose them simply because they sound better value.
Measure the route, not the car
Measure along the actual intended path. Include turns and transitions, but avoid routing across controls, airbags, pedals or moving components.
